A new adventure approaches! For the first time, my husband, my dog, and I will pack the pop up camper, and the car, and head for an overnight show in Niantic, Ct.

If it is as exciting and fun as I hope it will be, then perhaps we'll add more overnights to our agenda. As of now we have four others spread throughout the season.
In all honesty, we haven't been camping in many years, other than to stay a nite at our daughter's campsite at Sebago Lake State Park a few years ago. Just hope we don't make a mess of it!

There could be some challenges depending on where we stay...
for instance, a remote state park in New Hampshire will not have the amenities that say, a popular campground in Connecticut will.
In New Hampshire, we'll be using a chemical toilet, have only cold water to shower in, and few neighbors. I don't have to tell you which one of those I look forward to the least.

I'd love to hear from other artists who camp during shows. Let me know how you deal with the situations you find yourself in.
